Requirements for Getting Your Real Estate License

• At least 18 years old
• High School graduate or GED
• 30 hour Principles of Real Estate class
• Pass the real estate exam within 12 months of completing the Principles class
• Submit fingerprints for KBI/FBI background check
• Complete 30 hour Kansas Practice class
• File for a license through a broker within 6 months of passing the real estate exam
